For some reason I keep getting this error saying I am reaching the limit when im not. I am just starting out using the api and can't even get a response to come back.

it says i get 3 requests a minute for free tier
but it doesnt seem this is the case

This doesn't mean that it is free. Once your initial grant is used, or if you don't have one, you will need to add a payment method. There is no free tier usage.
