If it continues it could be. Does it tell you what policy your message is violating?
nope it doesnt say
do the mods check the message before banning people or nah?
Probably not. There are millions of people using the app.
Just make sure your messages and potential replies don't violate open AI's policies. Don't contain explicit or adult content and don't promote violence or hate speech.
none of them do tho
What did you say?
It says it might violate the policy
I did say the word 'bitch', is that offensive? (I'm australian, its part of my vocab at this point)
why
wdym why?
How did you say it and why
I roleplay and I called the character that the AI was play a B*tch, but i've cussed at it before and its never flagged it before
The ai might flag it as offensive language. Better avoid vocab like that.
Hi, I apologize for writing this here, it's just that I find myself in a slightly similar situation to Purple Guy. A few hours ago, I had a very short conversation with ChatGPT, and my response was flagged without indicating exactly why. I read the Terms of Use, but I'm not sure I understand why it was flagged? as it happened to Purple Guy, my chat was not too far off from previous chats I had. It was something personal about my mood and concerns, but nothing dangerous... it did have an insult, but it was a light word, "silly", referring to me... although I have used it before, without problems. I don't know if it was interpreted as a message of hatred... but it was not the intention... I sometimes talk to ChatGPT as a diary, I am aware that it is an AI and that his answers are not completely safe, but it helps me to reflect and think... I tried to appeal, explaining my situation, but I am worried that it will remain marked and may lead me to be banned... This is the first time a reply of mine has been flagged, in the past, there were two occasions at different times, when ChatGPT's replies were flagged, and I also appealed. I was helping me writing a story on one occasion and another was a chat in which I think, they misinterpreted something I said...
Sorry for writing so much, I hope I'm not breaking any rules... Also, I apologize for my English, I am using a translator.
Sorry, one more thing... when I appealed in for my marked answer, I wrote in Spanish, can that bring a problem?
I apologize again if it was not the right place. Thank you very much for reading.
I think it's fine as long as you don't get your messages flagged constantly.
