Do you still have the issue?
Disable vpn
Disable VPN addon ( threats and web protection)
it worked for me!! tysm
I have had this problem for 4 weeks now. Yess, Paid subscriber. Using the account for work ( forced to use it on my phone instead of on my desktop. It is NOT usable like this though since my prompts are rather complex.
I am not using VPN, nor have I used it when I created the account. Been sending bug reports about it once a week but no responce or change in the problem.
Because it is working on your phone it is a problem on your computer. Do yo have any NordVPN protection services?
I have been having the same issue for quite some time now... and yes I have NordVPN but it is disabled.
No I do not have any type of NordVPN Protection services. I run Avast Premium, but NOT the VPN part ( it is not even installed yett on my computer to be honest. ). It has been working, but stopped working aprox 4 weeks ago on allother browsers. Today I isntalled Firefox ( LONG time since I used that one ). That is the first browser that aparently does NOT have any problems so I can finally use it on my laptop again.
I understand the VPN part, but since I never had any VPN ( nor do I have such through my Internet Service Provider ).
Disable also von addon like web and threats protection
Avast causing issue
That is what I guessed as well. but it is funny that Firefox is fine anyhow. Edge and Google Chrome are the ones that I normally use and they just simply stopped working 4 weeks ago.
I cannot change avast though since it is my work computer and we do run Avast at work.
So lets hope it does not cause issues for Firefox as well furhter along the road.
I did add to the Whitelist the chatgpt adress. did not help a shait though to be honest.
I could try to disable the Web and Threats protection, BUT not something I rather do, considering this not being my personal computer.
Edge and chrome are the same
Freifox isn't based on chromium
Yepps, true, I just dont normally use Firefox, but seems I will have to use it for ChatGPT from now on 🙂
I ensured web/threats protection are disabled... still no luck.
Actually.... apparently I missed the web protection setting.... It was in fact enabled... after disabling (this time for real!) chatgpt is now working for me.... Thank you so much @fallen siren !
