#Monthly Quota Increase Request Is Taking Long
30 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
hey I did it almost 2 months ago, we need to wait 🙂
It took 2 months for them to accept it?
they needed to add new hardware
so big demand 🙂
now I am at 250k TPM with GPT4
very satisfied
I didn't mean tpm or rpm, I am talking about the monthly usage
Monthly Quota Increase Request Is Taking Long
oh sorry I got it within a week
this is fast
i had problem with tpm due to high traffic to my app
How much did you get as your limit?
Have you tried following up? Or leaving a new request?
How can I follow up? I am afraid it will take longer if I send a new one because my previous request will be disregarded.
I raised a request in March, let me see if there's a special email that you can reach out to
I only found this email safety-specialists@mail.openai.com
This is what I would do, I'd create a new account and submit a request from that. I'm not sure if it's against their policy to create multiple accounts so search for that first
Been almost 2 weeks, is anyone else having this problem?
yes been waiting 2 week for an increase to the spend cap (not the RPM or TPM) - responce from support was ............................................"Our system has been enhanced to automatically increase your API quota limit whenever you complete a successful payment. This means that whenever your payment is processed successfully, our system will automatically adjust your API quota limit to accommodate your needs." So i guess i will wait and see after i get billed
I have already been billed once though, but it was before I requested more. Does it mean I need to get billed after I requested an increase?
@steady hornet Has your been request been approved yet? I still haven't gotten a response from OpenAI.
No
I'm on my 4th or 5th quota increase... put the request in last week and still hasn't been responded to. Now my app's GPT functionality is dead in the water because we've hit our limit. 😢
We haven't had any luck either. Spent the last 6 months building our app without realizing there was a spend cap. Now we are trying to switch to LLama 2. Not as good, though...
Azure also has an OpenAI offering, but their accepted use-cases are very narrow. Not really usable for anything other than training a chatbot on internal documentation.
Did you ever get your usage limit increased?
That's rough. I am in a somewhat similar situation. The communication from OpenAI has not been ideal.
Yes, you get an increase once you get billed
Did you get your limit raised to the limit you requested, or did you just get bumped a couple hundred bucks by the automated system?
To the limit I requested
Good to know. Thanks!
