Info about the environment:
Web browser: Firefox mobile beta
Specifics about the build:
115.0b6 (Build #2015956731), b64eac7fd4+
GV: 115.0-20230615175802
AS: 115.0
Android version: Android 12 running on OneUI core 4.1
Note: (android 12 vanilla should be sufficient to reproduce the bug on Firefox mobile)
User subscription: ChatGPT Plus
Other info:
I tried to go in incognito mode in order to isolate any cookie-related quirks, won't work, I can still access GPT-4 on mobile by editing the url by adding ?model=gpt-4 and alike (gpt-4-browsing and gpt-4-plugins) at that point the buttons work again until I switch back to the default gpt-3.5 model (then i cannot switch back again
Steps to reproduce:
- Get your android 12 up and running
- Install Firefox, right now the Firefox beta build directly from Play store should be sufficient
- open chat.openai.com
- login on the website (i use Google to log-in, no idea if it makes a difference)
- get to the new chat view where you can select the model
At this point both buttons will appear but despite the GPT-4 button activating according to its styles it won't actually switch to the intended model nor show the list of models you can switch to (the GPT-4 variants such as gpt-4-browsing etc.)
Current behavior: In order to switch to GPT-4 you have to manually edit the URL params, then will work
Intended behavior: the buttons should let the user easily switch between the models without issues
