⬆️ RoleMatch.me examines a candidate's resume and a job advertisement, and suggests edits and modifications to the resume to maximise its alignment with the job description.
⬆️ More than just keyword matching, RoleMatch.me also leverages semantic analysis, making connections based on meanings of phrases and context, thereby bridging the gap between human understanding and algorithmic parsing.
⬇️ It's estimated that over 70% of resumes are filtered out by ATS before they even reach human recruiters
⬇️ None of your personal data is collected or stored, everything stays on your local browser storage.
⬅️ RoleMatch.me empowers users to customize their resumes for each job application, something which is often overlooked but can drastically improve chances of making it to the interview stage.
➡️ By taking advantage of RoleMatch.me's format suggestions, candidates can ensure their resume not only reads well but also looks appealing and professional to hiring managers.
🅱️ Blanks in skills and qualifications are pointed out and suggestions are made based on the resume and the job description.
🅰️ AI-driven service that helps candidates transform job ads into job offers!
🎮 RoleMatch.me is a game-changer for job seekers, transforming the once tedious process of tailoring resumes to each job ad into an automated, streamlined, and user-friendly experience.

I made some updates to the backend and will release the website this week - I'll ping you @forest dagger

#

I basically switched to the 16k token model but that makes it timeout, given the context size, so I am working towards implementing streaming

This is what I am looking for

#

working on it, hope to finish it today

#

it's going a bit slow as I'm not a front-end developer and I need to (re-) learn a lot of stuff, bear with me

dusty seal
#

hey folks, sorry for the delay, just today managed to get streaming working 😵‍💫, cleaning it up a bit and will release it later today

ok folks, it's not polished and might still have some bugs, but the app is now live @ https://rolematch.me

#

the "secret" invite code is: konami

@dusty seal I am trying out the rolematch.me platform and I did not see "Role Match Me" button as shown in your preview video. As a matter of fact, I didn't see any of the three buttons after the resume and job description was uploaded. Am I missing something? See the screenshots.

The process is automatic now, enter your resume, enter the job ad and then it automatically does the matching

#

I’m working on a more ‘refined’ version, but that will be out in mid-July or so

#

You prefer having the buttons?

the whole app is a bit rough around the edges, it's mostly a proof-of-concept and it's not meant to be the final product;

#

there are basically 3 (hidden) tabs: resume, role and match; in the video, the "Review Resume" and "Review Role" were there to allow navigating the tabs, on the website now I removed the buttons and the "Role Match" is called automatically when showing 3rd tab, after filling in the resume and role

#

also, for obvious reasons, I call /moderate on both the resume and the role so once they're entered and pass moderation, they're "locked"

I'll be moving the app to a cloud vm, there will be a short downtime done, the app is back and working

I'm testing switching to the gpt-4 model; while it has a smaller context (8k vs 16k) the quality is a bit better
