I am experiencing difficulties logging into my account as it consistently prompts me for an OTP. Could you please assist me by disabling the 2FA temporarily? Your prompt support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club. There are a bunch of us that don't have 2FA set up (or didn't link it with any sort of authenticator) and now have no access to their accounts and no support (aside from the chatbot which is totally unhelpful). I can use it on my phone, just not my desktop. So annoying.

@sick fox @indigo star @floral crystal Hi folks – by chance are you using an iOS device? Can you go to Settings -> Passwords -> OpenAI on your device and see if there's a way to retrieve the verification code from there that you can then use to login?

I am on android and after looking in my device settings, I don't have anything for it. I know the password for my account and can login on the website but then it asks me for my verification and I don't have a way to retrieve it

Can someone please help me with this issue? I'm able to send my email address and identity verification via discord pms or email for the account I have so a member of OpenAI staff can reset or disable my 2FA and let me re-login to my account

I managed to get through to a human and once I did was all sorted very quickly to be fair.
