i have been on the waitlist since the day it has came out, i know people who got it in a week and they arent even really doing anything with it. Me and a couple of other people are trying to work on a project but we cannot since our main bussines model which is using GPT 4, we still dont have acces to it. over like 4 to 5 months its getting ridiculous, how are me and my team supposed to do work if we have to wait so long just for the API? You should at least give plus subscribers access to the API or something.

No, they shouldn't give plus subscribers access any more than a Netflix subscriber should have access to Hulu. They are two separate services with separate uses. The API waitlist is currently on hold while OpenAI scales services. Access to the GPT-4 model was rolled out, prioritized to people who were historical users of the API, expected to use them in public projects, or anticipated to give feedback and contribute to the public's use.
