OK, I had NordVPN started as a client, but without VPN. And that blocked. That can not be that this is prevented for queries! That you should not pay over it I can still comprehend. But that you can not use the connection, and certainly not if there is no VPN connection, I can not understand!

I'm pretty sure it has to do with NordVPN's protection features as much as the VPN itself, because I'm experiencing the same thing.

same issue, quitting nord vpn / killing the related tasks in taskmgr.exe fixes this. Kinda dumb

I had the same issue and it turns out that having easy ad blocker enabled created this error
