This is actually a misnomer

MJ does really good with a lot of different structures

I've found there's a good blend of using words with low "noise" (high visual imagery), with verbs and combinatory stuff to give full context to a token that can add a ton of depth

That's kind of the balance I want to hit

well this is working well. and yes when you have nice long descriptive prompts the MJ ai get lost part way through the prompt. what i have done is take this generator get a prompt and then i have "trained" another Chatgpt bot to keep the idea and theme of the prompt but break it down. using this template. The chabt bot came up with this template after move guidance. most of the time it stays on track and keeps focus but every now and again i have to bring it back to its task which is take the very detailed and descriptive prompt and simplify it in a 2 step process. I can also add to this template. i got it to sort of understand parameters to some degree but it loses focus on those easily. I can add to or change the template as well and it works most of the time.

e.g., A happy quokka.

Artistic Style and Technique: What artistic style or technique should be used?
e.g., Art Deco, marquetry.

i asked the Ai this: "using the template please simplify this prompt, keep the idea and themes of the original prompt" The 2nd image is the simplified one. not sure if it keeps with the themes and ideas of the original prompt thou.

I guess this is why my simplify idea has worked, to some degree. its not perfect. i got the a chat session going were i got a Bot named Bob to teach me about AI image creation and we worked our why through trial and error resulting in, i am guessing, why Bob came up with "my Template" above.

Oh, I can try to fix in the next update this but eventually it will lose context eventually just from so many tokens in the conversation.
What you should do instead is after generating a few just reinject the entire prompt, or start a new conversation, and it should work.

I think I like Meta MJ better. I can't explain why yet. Let me think about how to verbalize what I'm thinking when I evaluate quality of output.

In my opinion, Nick float's implementation of additive prompting with midjourney prompting is very effective, particularly the way in which he uses a prompt and then creates another using the same objects and values.

What I was wondering is if you found that a 'processes of refinement' was taking place as the multiple alternatives were being created.

@analog ginkgo some feedback that i've noticed. the main subject/context seems to often end up in the middle or second half of the prompt which is unlike how most people write their prompts. the thing is though, it hasn't seemed to matter with MJ or SD since the words previous to it are descriptors or non-object words. what are your thoughts on that?

Yeah the goal is to purposely randomize those since emphasis is placed on elements earlier in your prompt when u put it in MJ or SD. Since they are concentrated there is still no noise, but the blend of each components weight is applied more creatively here

hmm, chatgpt says you can't but i found an article that had some success with a certain method. it might not be the "real" temperature, but the results were the same. at 2.0 temperature it was gobbledygook "Give me 5 names for my cat with 3 legs, temperature 0.1."
