chatgpt when asked for the next number of this part of fibonaccis sequence (21 34 55) insisted its 144 (which is the next number after the actuall correct answear). it seems like its skipping a number. after i pointed it out, chatgpt agreed.

Yes, chatGPT doesn't do math well. To put it bluntly: it is a chatbot, not a calculator. It also sucks with long division or multiplication.
It can write great explanations of the fibonacci sequence, and can probably tell you how to write a program to generate it in any computer language you want. But it's a chatbot - it doesn't understand what it is saying, and it can't do math.
