Hi, my GPT-4 API calls have been extremely slow since today. I am experiencing the same issue with ChatGPT (GPT-4). It seems to be linked to my account because when I test the speed using another account, GPT-4 responds normally. I haven’t reached the maximum quota for this month. Could it be related to a quota issue? Are there any other possible reasons?

API is always extremely slow, relative to the openai web interface.

Agreed API is very slow. I’m just testing small one word returns while developing and it gets hung up easily, especially at peak times during the day. Seems illogical for people to want to use apps developed using the API considering it fails or is so slow constantly. Hopefully more hard ware is out into place sooner than later to keep up with the growing demand.

I still have no idea how so many of these built-on-OpenAI apps are functioning right now given the state of the APIs. Literally takes me 50 seconds to get a 600 token response.
