I'm posting gthis here b/c OpenAI doesn't seem to have a support channel for the beta (plugins) product.

When I use the beta option:

I can choose GPT-3 or 4

When I choose GPT-4:

once I submit a request, chatGPT reverts back to GPT-3
the generated output from GPT-3 is not useful
yet I'm still getting charged usage for GPT-4 (25 req per 3 hours)

So now I'm cooling my heels for an hour...waiting for my usage quota to reset.

Pls advise how to get around what appears to be a bug.

And in the FWIW dept, while I realize you folks are super-busy, I think for $240 per year for Plus accounts, it's not unreasonable to expect a clearly defined support process. May I suggest, in addition to api-support, that you add plus-support and beta-support...

As noted in https://discord.com/channels/974519864045756446/1037784403058884608, this forum is for support with the API, not for ChatGPT support. You'll need to use the applicable resources.

As noted in my post - there isn't an applicable chatGPT-support thread, nor is there a beta plugin-support thread. To be perfectly candid, the structure of this server's threads is a bit confusing. It shouldn't be so difficult to find the correct support thread for chatGPT. If there is one - could you kindly tell me which one it is? ty

There isn't one. You can ask in #chatgpt-discussions but keep in mind that the people moderating this server and those of us who assist in support requests are volunteers. If you are looking to get in direct contact with OpenAI, this server is not the avenue for that.

I understand you're a volunteer, so this comment is not directed at you personally.

If you look at the FAQ on openAI's website, they direct users to this discord server.

3 months ago, I think we all understood things were early stage, so we rolled with it. But as the platform matures, and as competitiojn heats up, good tech support will be a differentiator.

Again, not directed at you - certainly appreciate the time and effort you're putting in.
