I've recently put in a ticket on the chat gpt website, but came here to add additional details. the short version of the ticket is that last night i was using the latest free version of cgpt and this morning i looked back and most, but not all, of the chat for that night was gone. im not sure why this happened or how i can get it back, if at all.
I've taken some steps to try to reproduce it, the only try things I can think of are
1.) i shut down my computer with an unsent message still in the box, and
2.) I sometimes days things like "I'd like to keep this in mind for later" which is something it can't technically do.
I wasn't expecting anything, but I tried doing both of these again to recreate whatever happened, but it looks like neither of them were the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas? i really want that chat back and there are no error messages that are displayed and all of my settings are on default aside from setting it to dark mode.
