More than 2 weeks of no response to my chat prompts. No one responds. No help. No articles. Why when several weeks ago everything worked fine no nothing. I type the question and hit submit it goes to the top I have my little icon and my question nothing appears in the chat area to the left the indicator for questions asked does not increment above zero ever. And I sit there anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes and absolutely nothing not the openai logo no responses no error messages for all intent and purposes it would appear that it's not even submitted had it not appeared up to the top of the screen. I'm a check GPT Plus account holder and I've gotten absolutely not one single question answered in over 2 weeks.

Anyone who has any suggestions please reply because I'm about ready to tear my hair out I'm trying to launch a business and it I need ChatGPT to work.

@sinful oak disable all VPNs or anything masking your local ip

#

And disabled any web protection you may have in extensions

I've already disabled all the browser extensions and shut down and rebooted everything. The VPN was running prior to any problem whatsoever when it was still an actual functioning product.

@ionic matrix See the comment above I forgot to link it to you.

@ionic matrix It's still doing my 2fa and login correctly

(Paid account) All attempts failed. 4.0/3.5. Tested 2 browsers, VPN on/off, all extensions disabled. Now I'm back to "Something went wrong..." messages on every prompt. I suppose that's better than being completely blank.

It's been doing since April 21st. Pathetic.

@grizzled nebula I haven't installed it. Never heard of it? Is that what fixed it?

grizzled nebula

yes i fixed it. Mine was caused by a chrome plugin regarding chatGPT.

Possible Solution: Had the same problem here, and I had turned off my VPN client. However, still was experiencing the issue.

Finally found that if I turned off the "Web Protection" feature in NordVPN, the problem was immediately resolved. Perhaps you have some form of web protection installed that is causing the issue. hope that's helpful
