I have specified to use the model gpt-3.5-turbo in my code but the server return...
It's the same model. The difference is that gpt-3.5-turbo will update automatically when a "new version" comes out whereas the 0301 will always be the current (and eventually older) one.

@brisk veldt did you find a way to resolve this problem? Latest gpt-3.5 model is out and available on playground as well. However api continues to return response from older gpt-3.5-turbo-0301 even today.
