Bug Report:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect to VPN
  2. Open chat.openai.com
    expected result:
    access to my pro account
    Actual result:
    "sorry, you have been blocked"
    Additional Information
I am not blocked when off the VPN (not feasible), and when I connect to the VPN from other company PCs the block is hit or miss. I was able to log into chatGPT on one coworkers computer on the VPN, but not on another's.
    Browser: Google Chrome, Firefox
    OS: Windows 11
Other: I am a paying Pro member, who uses the service to assist me at work, but when on my work VPN I am blocked. Iwork from home and am required to be on the VPN. Disconnecting from the VPN ever time I need to use ChatGPT is not an option. I have to be on the VPN to access internal database servers that I am using ChatGPT to help me troubleshoot scripts for. It's killing my workflow. The VPN is an enterprise VPN, Info Sec has confirmed there are no policies on the firewall interfering with openai.. so why is this not working on VPN, and why is there dedicated support contact for paying customers, posting and hoping someone responds is very aggravating?

Surely there is a better solution than “block all vpn access”. The majority of people that work from home probably have to be on a VPN to access their company resources.

I hope soon, really soon, somebody clone these codes and rid us out of this stupid decision.

It’s not openais fault anyways

If they are blanket blocking access while on VPN, even legitimate use on a company's VPN.. then yeah, it kinda is.. every system has to deal with potential abuse, but blocking paying customers from legitimate access is not the way to do it.
