I recently received access to the GPT-4 model with 8K context. However, when asked what model it is? It says its GPT-3. When asked what its max token limit is? It says 4096. Please see attached.
I also created an API Key and tested it using the chat completion with the same results. I have verified that the organization identifier is the same one I received an invite for.
Does anyone know why this could happen?

This is because it doesn't have adequate training data to suggest it is GPT-4. If you need it to say as much you will have to feed that information to it for now.
Rest assured it is GPT-4.

If you set it up in the API, you can tell it as much in its system message.
