Work device, Win11. VPN enabled or disabled, no access.
Company wide, our access is now gone. Last successful access on 04/27/2023
I have already spoken to our security team and have confirmed no policies in place to prevent traffic. I have also checked splunk logs revealing no dropped connections for anybody accessing OpenAI sevices. Additionally have tried multiple devices, browsers, VPN toggled, Wifi vs Ethernet vs Guest vs Hidden networks - all same result. This is entirely on a service level on your side.

It seems like @small lagoon is actively blacklisting the IP addresses (or similar credentials) associated with our VPN / Network. I'm not sure how you determine who has access, but there's no reason why you should be blocking enterprise access to a tech company.

"Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com"

  • No response from a real person
  • No easy way for Enterprise support
  • No easy way to talk to an agent

If I'm paying, I expect to be able to use this service on networks that don't explicitly block @small lagoon traffic. Please advise.

Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.
I have tried to contact you thorugh help check box, e mail, discord, i did not get any reply.
I am a premium user, i tried to enable/disable vpn, changing broswer, making access from the "try now" button, clearing browser cache, cookies, log in log out. My user is alexander.zeisberg85@gmail.com. What can i do? can someone please help me?

I have a VPN on my work laptop but it is not connected and I cannot get anything other than the "Something is wrong" response. I'd disable it to test but I don't have the admin password to do so.
I can use ChatGPT on my personal iPad or phone which are using the same network. These do not have VPN's.

I am having the same issue with a blocked account when on my work VPN, which I have to use to access most of my company resources. Disconnecting when I want to do something on chatgpt and then reconnect to get back to the company resources is not ok. I am also a Pro customer, and paying for a service and then have no way to get actual support is unacceptable.

Not a bug

They are banning all vpn access does to excessive abuse around the world

this directly affects government access. Why is there no whitelisting option?

They have plenty of reason to block any vpn connections
