Unable To Login Or SignUp

Nothing happens when I click login or sign up tried multiple browsers both pc and mobile. Also tried to clear cache and still unable to login

i've tried everything and the webpage just refreshing when i click login or signup. I've tried different browsers, clearing cache and cookies, different devices, nothing seems to work.

Exact same here. I've tried turning off my VPN, using an incognito browser, clearing browser cache & cookies, and trying to use my phone's browser. I'm using Firefox on my PC.

Someone was able to log in using Safari on their iPhone, if anyone here can try that let us know if it works

Some people have been able to log in using Safari, at least one hasn't, so probably not a browser issue

I cannot explain why it worked for me, but I've logged out, and done these same steps a few times and it worked every time. But if I go straight to the ChatGPT login it still won't work.

If you're having issues logging into ChatGPT try this and tell me if it works for you.

Instead of logging into

https://chat.openai.com/auth/login

Try logging onto

https://platform.openai.com/

Then go to Overview > Chat (Beta)

Then proceed from there and login like normal.

I was just able to log in.
I went to their help site https://help.openai.com/en/
then in the chat thing I clicked the button that said "Log in" and it took me to a login screen, and then when I refreshed the ChatGPT login page it let me log in like normal

Ok- I'm in! Here is what I did-

1. I clicked on the black message icon in the bottom corner here: https://help.openai.com/en/
2. I clicked the bottom middle icon "messages"
3. There was a topic in the bottom that says "Login Now", I clicked that
4. The chat bot generated a message with en embedded login link.
5. It logged me in to platform.openai.com
6. I clicked the blue icon that says "chat", and there is a redirect link to chat gpt there, and it allowed me to login

That worked when I logged in through platform.openai.com and then went to chatgpt

Was also getting this one, the requests were returning 429 TOO MANY REQUESTS. I am on a VPN, curious if anyone else here is also on a VPN or share a router with a lot of people, maybe it has to do with ratelimits

On my phone I still had login permission, but I was seeing too many request within the chrome inspector, under network logging on my desktop PC in any browser.. but https://platform.openai.com/ worked for me.
