I don't seem to have those in my version.

I get those too, but they are closer to the sidebar. They look like gear teeth hanging off the side of it for me.

I also have them.
They seem to be part of the tab that holds the title for that chat.
So they've extended it too far on the page.
I found if I click them, I get the traditional two icons that allow you to delete or rename your title bar.
