I get the same errors. Don't know what has changed. I never got these errors until yesterday. I am also a plus user.

Yeah I've seen posts from a few weeks back. I starting getting this a few days ago. The only thing I did was change my OS from linux to Windows 11, however I fail to believe it's because of that. I've always used brave, and always used a vpn

I forgot to mention two things. I use a VPN on my Mac and recently (a few days ago) ran ChatGPT on my phone (ios).

The system is currently requiring that you login after you have been idle for a short period, you can regain access by refreshing and logging back in.

I am a plus user and have the same issue. I keep getting "Something went wrong" messages. I went to help.openai.com, followed instructions for this problem, but nothing helped. I cleared cookies in Chrome, logged out, tried another computer. I wrote to support@openai.com but dead end. The Chrome inspector shows: "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()"

OpenAI - I am experiencing frequent 403 errors when using the ChatGPT chat interface. This seems to be related to the ‘how long idle’ setting, which is very inconvenient for users, especially those with attention deficit disorders. These errors make the chat service very hard to use and enjoy.

Please fix this issue as soon as possible, or update your terms of use to allow users to create their own chat clients that work properly.
