from what I see, GPT (bing ai, chatGPT, etc) seems to not care about your information if it's not objective
like, if you tell him "the earth is flat" it will prove you otherwise
but if you tell him "I'm shrek" then it will believe you
but due to the way filtering/system prompts work, it will never forget it's ChatGPT unless you bypass those system prompts (filtering is hard to bypass, but if it triggers then it resets back to "I'm chatGPT")

You can request the AI to roleplay as a user, and to treat you as the AI.
As the OP suggests, there's a chance ChatGPT will randomly decide to try that. It might also randomly decide to correct the user, or ask what it is supposed to be doing (that's what the "is there anything specific you'd like to know or ..." was about).
If you want the AI to respond as if it's the user, it's pretty willing to do so, just ask.
