I am writing to report an unauthorized charge that was made to my debit card for a ChatGPT subscription. The transaction details are as follows:

Transaction Number: CHATGPT SUBSCTIPTION SA N 31MAR ****************USD20.00 (number censored- will provide in private email)

I did not authorize this transaction and I have not received any payment confirmation or order details in my email. In addition, my ChatGPT account is still basic and has not been upgraded.

I kindly request that you investigate this matter and provide a full refund for the unauthorized charge. Please let me know if there is any additional information that you need from me in order to process this refund.

I was surprised with this transaction that appeared in my bank account. Please assist. Thanks!

Have your bank reissue your card and contact OpenAI using the bubble on thr bottom of the homepage

I called my bank and that is what they advised. But that is troublesome for me as I live in another country and they couldnt possibly send the new debit card to the country I live now.

I have tried the bubble chat and currently waiting a long time for a response. Just freaked out with the situation that I need urgent answer from Chatgpt.

Hopefully someone can reach out to me so I can provide my email address.

This is the only active email that i use for chatgpt and I only have one active phone number. So it is unlikely that I used another chatgpt account for the upgrade.

Your card will eventually expire and need renewal anyways. In any case, if your card was stolen then you might expect more unauthorized charges from other merchants. I don't think this is a bug on OpenAI's end unless you bought Plus at one point

I have 4 more unauthorized charge lately. Called my bank to block my card. If this was done by hackers, then ChatGPT should strengthen their weak payment method. Hackers can easily use other people's card with no 2-step verification or anything. Also, whats up with their nonexistent customer service? Why am i chatting in discord for gods sakes
