The automoderator deleted a post I tried to put in here and had me in time-out for 1 hr. I think my use of Unicode characters triggered it to think i was violating rule 10, but idk.

I tried playing chess with GPT-4 - not through this prompt, but just using generic notation, and it kept forgetting the board layout after a few moves. When I asked it to correct, it would, but then other parts of the board would be messed up.

Yeah, it can help if you start off the chat asking for the rules of chess, then use the prompt. This tends to help with many games, but it still isn't perfect. Maybe GPT-5 will do it better 😉
