#IP bans of many vpn servers

Could you please not ban public vpn servers or ideally not IP ban at all since it's extremely ineffective.

I use a vpn at my router level and now have to layer another proxy over that for chatgpt because my vpn servers keep getting banned for other peoples miss use (assuming not mine as my account is fine). It would be trivial to implement a check if the address is a datacenter or residential IP.

I have also the same issue with my paid VPN servers.

There have been a lot of bad faith connections and abuse use from VPN IP's what do you recommend they do to prevent it?

not ban vpns lmao

#

Anyone who uses a vpn to bypass an ip ban has at least 30 more servers to go through

#

I have probably 400 on different services and accounts

phone verification actually works though you can use text verification services too

Today was the first day where I (for who use it for personal use, not professionally, but do feel strongly about a VPN) tried to log on and had to turn off my VPN to access the site.

This was the msg I received when going to the site (and even reloading/trying an incognito tab:
"Access denied
You do not have access to chat.openai.com.
The site owner may have set restrictions that prevent you from accessing the site. Error code 1020."

It remained until I switched off my VPN.

Not a good look, IMHO.
