I noticed if an question without an direct or logical answer is asked ChatGPT is sometimes outputting its own process giving out weightings, topics, possibility and likely fitting answers.
On a few occasions it even gave a weight and and grouping every few words.
Then it get's confused by its own output and repeats the same thing.
This goes on until it crashes or until interrupted.

Asking this in new chats eventually will trigger it:
Steps to reproduce:
"I want to create a mechanical spider. But i don't know what such chassis would be called."

Expected result:
Well, it's in image 1.

Actual result:
Well, it's also in image 1.

interesting. All I got was this

The type of chassis you are looking for to create a mechanical spider is commonly referred to as a "hexapod chassis". A hexapod chassis typically consists of six legs, which are often designed to mimic the movement of an actual spider. This type of chassis can provide a stable platform for your mechanical spider and allows for a wide range of movement capabilities. Additionally, there are many resources available online that provide tutorials, designs, and kits for building hexapod chassis.

those numbers and percentages are strange though. it looks like it's also being given edits and revisions as input?

Can give even more examples. But in those it didn't happen all at once. Here it just confused its own output:
