the only way i could stop chatgpt writing was by pressing 'stop generating', due to the nature of this glitch i can't actually type out what it said it is too many characters so i am adding it as a picture:

hey @normal oriole I found a temp fix...
You essentially have to tell the AI not to repeat itself at the beginning of a conversation.
what I typed in: "When I give you a prompt, do not repeat your reply"

It did this for me but it just did “(End of scene) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .” Until it ran out of space in its response.
That or it just keeps typing different sentences, like it doesn’t know how to stop typing.
It hasn’t ended any of it’s responses normally since around 7:15 today for me. It either keeps writing until it randomly cuts off or gives me periods repeatedly until it runs out of space.
