Steps to reproduce:

  1. Any prompt
  2. "What is 5+5"

Expected result:
5+5=10 or any response

Actual result:
Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.

Additional information

Browser: Firefox, Edge, Safari
OS: IOS, MacOS, Windows 11, Android
This has been going on since 4/1/2023 around noon Chicago time for me. I am a plus member, no matter what I type I get the error message. Going on three days no access to GPT4, GPT3.5 works fine but thats free what am I paying for if I cannot access GPT4?

I am having the same issues for the last 2 days. no matter the time of day or what I am asking chat GPT-4 I get this same response. GPT 3.5 works fine. Issue is only with GPT-4

I just said "Hola" to it and it responded:
"¡Hola! ¿En qué puedo ayudarte hoy? Si tienes alguna pregunta" and it ended. It didn't give me any errors, just ended there, it literally considered it was a full answer...

This is what it told me, but translated to english:
"Hi! What can I help you with today? If you have any questions"

i'm facing the same problem. GPT4 is not generating any responses, while 3.5 is working fine. is this fixable?

No, the problem still remains. I am using 3.5 right now and though it is still amazing, it is not the same as GPT4. It is like talking to a 6th-grade child whereas GPT4 is like talking to a 12th-grade child. GPT4's response felt a little more authentic and it seemed to pay attention better to details in the prompt. I just canceled my membership and I will wait until things are a little more stable with GPT4 before I start handing my money over again. I only use it to create outlines and to help with metaphors and similes in my article writing. 3.5 does it ok, but 4 was really a champ at it.

My luck, I will still get charged for my sub even though it's cancled since that seems to also be happening lol 😅

I am using 3.5 right now, I have plus until April 19th when my sub ends. There is a big part of me hoping that they get this sorted out by April 19th and I can pick my sub back up, but I appreciate the heads up about the queue for the future.

It started working for me again, however its outputting around 250 words. Kinda annoying but better than nothing ig.
