I have been having this issue since Saturday night 4/1/2023 in Chicago. I ask a question, it thinks and then it spits out the following error. In the days leading up to 4/1/2023 GPT4 was erroring about 6/10 chat attempts and the answers it was providing were inaccurate and poorly structured. It was like it was slowly malfunctioning up until 4/1/2023. It is still down for me on 4/3/2023 but GPT3/5 works fine.

I have the same issue. Tried logging out from all devices now, and tried logging in with firefox for the first time. I just got a "busy" error. Atleast it's a change from just seing the free chatGPT interface.

It means tht there have been an Internet issue so u will have to refrsh the page again or relogin for the answer to to generated. This happens to me alot if i switch btwn networks from WiFi to mobile data or vice versa, or my net suddenly gets disconnected and reconnected again, or any kind of network issues causes tht. Hence refreshing or relogging in always works for me.

It’s been a few days since I upgraded my account to ChatGPT Plus to be able to use the new GPT-4 feature. Everything seemed to be working okay though the content generation process was slow (GPT-4 currently has a cap of 25 messages every 3 hours. Expect significantly lower caps, as we adjust for demand.) but it was working fine till yesterday when everything seemed to have scratched. I keep getting this error message when I try to use the GPT-4 system : “Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.”
But everything works well on the GPT-3.5 so I guess there’s an issue with my GPT-4 so please any assistance to fix the issue will be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if their disabling access to Italy had some weird side effect on many other users not connected? There are tons of people who apparently still have access to GPT4 and then there are those, like myself, who cannot get through since 4/1/2023.
