I have been having this issue since Saturday night 4/1/2023 in Chicago. I ask a question, it thinks and then it spits out the following error. In the days leading up to 4/1/2023 GPT4 was erroring about 6/10 chat attempts and the answers it was providing were inaccurate and poorly structured. It was like it was slowly malfunctioning up until 4/1/2023. It is still down for me on 4/3/2023 but GPT3/5 works fine.

It's pathetic that OpenAI can't seem to get their web development in order. Their AI model may be great, but their web service, technical architecture, and infrastructure are a complete disaster. It's obvious they need to invest more money in making ChatGPT more scalable and improving their customer service. They should be acting like the big corporation they claim to be, instead of letting their incompetence hold them back.

Whoah chill - I have had access to open ai for two years and was a part of plus before they rolled out 4 - they did say that it would give you access to 4 but on their current websites they do not advertise it as part of plus

It's nothing personal. After the 1000th time of someone complaining that the $20 is essentially a donation, even though it isn't, and that we shouldn't expect GPT-4 or any other advertised features of Plus because it isn't in the "upgrade" checklist, it becomes a little irritating

This stuff is not easy. And in the grand scheme of things, this will just be a minor blip in time. It is quite appalling that they didn't catch this outage.

I'm sure the team will learn from this incident. I'm just glad that they finally acknowledge that there's a problem.

FIVE FREAKIN' DAYS OF IT NOT WORKING!! The problem with OpenAI is the terrible leadership at the top. I suggest people in the US go to the FTC.gov website and submit a fraud report on Open AI. They are in breach of contract. If you paid and aren't getting any GPT 4 access please do. They are stealing hundreds of millions from us.

I didn't speak for everyone. It did work on my laptop, but when I tried to log in from my mobile, I encountered an error and was not able to log in. At least it's working on my laptop. I hope it gets resolved for you soon.
