Bug Report:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. attempt to open chatgpt from browser from previous session
  2. attempt to login

Expected result:

  1. access granted to chat gpt

Actual result:

  1. Bad Gateway Error
    The web server reported a bad gateway error.

Additional information:

  1. Browser: Chrome, Midori, Edge all the same outcome
  2. OS: Windows
  3. I am able to send requests and receive responses via api
  4. My account uses my google account for authentication
  5. I have cleared my cache and launched via incognito windows. This gets me to the login steps, but after selecting my google account I receive the bad gateway error
  6. I have been encountering this since yesterday 3/20/2023 with zero successful logins
  7. I am a plus account user

I have the same issue. Bad gateway error screen on every browser. If I log into a fresh incognito window, I can log in (log in with google auth), then I get the same error page.

Same issue, I've done all above, and also contacted GPT help as well, no response, and no support.

Same issue. Has been more than 24 hours. Would love to see this resolves, I tried a VPN, incognito and different browsers (including on seperate devices). Not working 😦

The same issue here. I thought it was because of some problems with my ISP in my country but it is not. BTW I'm a plus customer 😠

Also having this issue, plus user and using Google auth.

Really disappointing paying for a service and open ai’s status says all systems are live and functioning when it’s obvious it is not for a lot of plus users.

I just want to know that this has been noticed by staff and they’re working to fix it.

Go to https://help.openai.com/

Open a support ticket using the bottom right chat 🔍 in the lower right corner.
Select --> 'Login or Sign up Issues'
Provide email and explain Gateway Issue

This method will trigger an internal response to the devs on call. The more support tickets the faster we get this handled.

Confirming I finally have access to ChatGPT Plus. No history, but at least I have access to chat.

Morning - just a quick update.

I am able to access ChatGPT Plus... YES!

...but I am now plagued by the familiar "Missing Histories".

Will the folks who just got their access back to Chat ALSO be on the "histories to be fixed" list?

I now can access but am also missing history. It also times out a good bit. So far I have not seen any benefit from getting Plus

are you still having trouble ? I can access CHatGPT but in free version. Even though I'm loged in with my Google Account on witch I subscribed for a Paid plan...
Althought I you can't ask GPT for anything has it simply doesn't work
