I was using chatGPT normaly when it told me that I just got a suscription, which I never agreed, then I noticed that all the personal information, including the credit card is not mine, it's someone else's.
Only the email is mine as I use my google account to log in chatGPT.
Maybe the guy used my email by mistake and now all his personal information is on my account.

this happened to many of us as the other's reported here. I am on the affected side of this massive bug.
I just wanted to upgrade my account to plus, then realized only after paying that it wasn't my account I have upgraded to. Probably someone else wanted to do the same and the bug in the session linked their payment to your account
I have my hands tied here, I can't even get a confirmation email nor an invoice because it's probably been sent to the other user just like in your case.
Payment step has a bug linking to another random user's account.
Is there anything I can do? an email to report this or somethiing? I din't find anything, just this discord channel and an horrible chat box. (Iroticaly enough)

just the 4 last numbers, but I think there was an option to edit it, not sure tho

if you are paid, go to the side bar, tap on "upgrade", and if the orange bubble "The payments page encountered an error. Please try again. If the problem continues, please email support@openai.com." means you are paid, error on site
So do that, do not alarm

Seems like the whole page of bug reports over the last 4-5 days may stem from something getting crossed up in the user accounts database? Would explain why some of us can't find our chat history and maybe a few accounts are getting duplicate id's with other accounts, allowing people to see conversation history or entering into the payment page under someone else's account id. Possible something broke in the id's as they have scaled so fast?
So if this has been going on for a few days, did anybody get any support from them?

I am totally speculating from looking through the bug reports here. I lost my chat history about 4 days ago, though. Seems like its hitting a subset of their user base, since some people keep reporting it was working for them.
