Instead of "Regenerate Response", just let me continue the conversation

I live in a place with unreliable internet. Sometimes while ChatGPT is sending a long response, the internet cuts out briefly and I get a "load failed" error message. Usually I already have all the information I need from the partial response, so I would prefer to continue to the next point in the conversation rather than regenerate the response. However, the text box is replaced with a big green "regenerate response" button. This forces me to regenerate the response (once my internet comes back) before I can move on. This wastes my time and puts load on OpenAI's servers. I'm sure this interaction can be improved.
