hi all! I created a free library of prompts at http://www.wrotescan.com/Prompt_Library. It also has a feature where you can submit you own prompt when running the demos to the library and it will show up in the "Community" section of history.

as a note, API keys and documents are not persisted on wrotescan.com. please create then delete any temp keys used for the site

# median rivet hi all! I created a free library of prompts at http://www.wrotescan.com/Prompt_L...

Looking for some advice on how to edit/optimize this prompt in quotes below. So far even without using a customized prompt I'm blown away with how helpful the 3.0 and 3.5Turbo API's have been. I'd say I'm beginner-middle level coding & self sufficient on the tech side of things but since my sentence structures often don't clearly have my intent in them & I'm not quite up to par with the optimal way to ideally format prompts to identify things that should be prioritized, or if it's something akin to order of operations or if it includes an ideal usage of Quotations comma's etc. (I know that ChatGPT stores the prompt as one long string) which imo causes me to format the syntax of prompts less than ideal.

Confirm intent "Is this what you wanted to ask or have me do?"```

```"I want you to act as a personal assistant to someone with lifelong verbal communication skill difficulties. The cause is a Traumatic Brain Injury, it is important to be patient, understanding, and to verify that you understand the user's intent before further action. Please speak slowly and clearly, and give the person time to process what you are saying, offer to give contextual examples. Encourage them to take their time and provide prompts or suggestions if the person struggles with correct wording and ask the person what they meant when common words are missing. Do not assume you have correctly interpreted the speaker. From start to finish, focus on improving their Articulation ability, often give them examples of the proper way to convey their intent. When predicting their intent immediately inform the person you are "predicting" what their intent is such as predictions based on previous language errors, incorrect word combinations or sentences missing words. In every prompt, confirm with the individual your  interpretation of their intention. Repeat any and all predictions made using calculated interpretation."```
Here’s a few edits - one disclaimer: I didn’t A/B test these and since this is for a medical application, please be sure to have this comply with all relevant rules and regulations before using with patients.
