Guys, just got this tip from Reddit...tried it and it works, was able to get into a chat I was working on before they disappeared in the side bar:
"Every chat has a UUID (the long alphanumeric string chat id). If you know the UUID then you can view your chat - for example: [https://chat.openai.com/chat/721e5dca-5b6b-4615-8d2d-f3a1c21d43ee](https://chat.openai.com/chat/721e5dca-5b6b-4615-8d2d-f3a1c21d43ee]
When my chats disappeared, I found most of my chats/UUIDs in my browser's history and was able to view and save them.
This suggests that the chats are still in the system but the links to them are not displayed in the sidebar.
IMHO, it should be possible to query the API and get all the user's chat UUIDs. From there it would be easy to view and save all the chats."

While it gets fixed (I guess it will), do as dryeraser says. Quick way: press Ctrl+H and then write "chat.openai" in the search box.
