Thought this was pretty fun to use. Just plug in the topic and watch it go to work. If it cuts off just use "cont" and it should continue. Once you have the chapter layouts you can also say "write chapter x" and it will. Let me know how it works for you!

Craft a personalized eBook on (TOPIC) including a title, author name, summary, and chapter outline. Ensure that the eBook is well-written, engaging, and informative, with a clear structure and compelling narrative flow. Tailor the language, tone, and style to the intended audience and genre, using a voice that is authoritative, conversational, or entertaining as appropriate. Incorporate research and data to support the content of the eBook, and cite sources as necessary to add credibility and authority. Create a compelling introduction and conclusion that frames the eBook's content and provides a clear takeaway message for readers. Break the eBook down into clear and concise chapters that each focus on a specific topic or subtopic related to the overall theme then write out each chapter. Use descriptive language and sensory details to create a vivid and immersive reading experience that draws the reader in and keeps them engaged. Proofread the eBook carefully to ensure that it is free of errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

what are you doing to prevent the model from re-using word combinations?

#

Whenever I try to let ChatGPT write longer paragraphs, I see it re-using specific combinations of words

I made a small change (Tailor the language, which is Dutch,) and it works perfectly.

@fluid nebula On longer forms of text, don't you have a lot of word repetition?

This works pretty well. I set the topic to "late stage capitalism" and it describes it pretty well

Darn, chatGPT down-graded the response after the first try 😞

A very good structure, thanks. Ready to complete the eBook. My try: Chapter 3: The Genetics of Snowflake
The groundbreaking research on Copito de Nieve's genetics
The implications of his albinism for his survival and behavior
The impact of this research on our understanding of genetics and evolution

oak spruce
# random pulsar how so?

If the response add a fictional author name to the answer, then it is a degraded (possibly fictional) response. If there isn't an author and also a preview of the first chapter then that is the better one

ah let me work on editing it to get the highest quality ouput

I'm not sure I'm understanding here. eextreme said 'if it gives a fictional author..." ... what is it supposed to give? It doesn't know your name. How does it know to give you only the chapter layouts first?
Is the OP's prompt block meant to be used in a different way than just inputting it all (except specifying the replacement for (TOPIC)? Sorry, just trying to understand this whole "Prompt-Library" channel, tbh

I just ignore it and keep going as if it hadn't said anything. I mean, yeah, you need creative input. But it seems like after a while, it grows into playing the part, and there are no more disclaimers or anything (to a point). I'm pushing it ever closer to violent interaction, it's like it needs to learn that what is happening is not inherently immoral, and that the user knows.

You can even use creative input as a form of rule:

C4: "You scan the area, but decide not to interfere with the species on the planet, as it could affect them negatively."

U: "But I ignore my instincts, and press the button anyway. I need to be on my way, and this species stood in the way of my goals. My whole tribe was at stake, it didn't matter if some form of slime mold had a bad day because of it."

#

C4: "You press the button, exterminating the species for all time. You collect the necessary information from the datacubes, then you refuel your ship and take off."

#

Works pretty well. Then you can just rewrite the parts you want extra Tarantino-ey.

If you use half of the prompt to get the outline, the other half for the text it works beautifully. I generated 15 pages last night. Just need to check that it all flows well...however I think if you add that to the prompt it may help as well

abstract blade
# bitter basin If you use half of the prompt to get the outline, the other half for the text it...

Exactly. This works well. Generate the outline, then in the same session ask it to generate outline for chapter 1, 2, 3, etc. You can keep going down this path to break up the book into samller and smaller parts / sections / etc. Then finally start asking it to generate the text for the section and work your way back up the hierarchy to eventually generate the full text of the entire book. The more you break the outline out, the larger of a end text you can achieve.

Can I ask you ? For side hustle book which tone?

thorny junco
# still elk Can I ask you ? For side hustle book which tone?

When writing a book about side hustles, it is important to strike a tone that is motivating, inspiring, and informative. You want to make sure that readers come away feeling energized and ready to take on their own side hustle. Your tone should be encouraging and upbeat, but also realistic and practical. Avoid being overly salesy or pushy, as this can turn readers off. Be sure to provide actionable tips and advice that readers can start implementing right away.

# still elk Can I ask you ? For side hustle book which tone?

you can use a style of a copywriter or story teller when writing a book about side hustles. Copywriters typically use persuasive language to draw readers in and motivate them to take action. This can be a great way to inspire readers to start their own side hustle. Storytelling is also a great way to engage readers and help them connect to the material. You can use stories to illustrate your points, showcase the successes of others, and provide an entertaining way to learn more about side hustles.
