When I'm trying to sign in I'm receiving this error message, "using a password, which is not the authentication method you used during sign up. Try again using the authentication method you used during sign up. (error=identity_provider_mismatch)" is there any solutions to this? I've tried to email and IM openai support but am not getting a response. I've cleared cache/cookies, restarted browser, tried other browsers, all are receiving the same error message.

got the same msg on a different device
so far ive attempted it on PC - using chrome & edge. I also just attempted it on a mobile device, received the same error message.
Yeah, I get the same thing... it looks like it happens when you signed up directly with your gmail account, then it bugs out and it won't let you login normally with a password. I hope this gets some visibility eventually...
So I'm trying this workaround - login with the gmail account login, then delete my account (it says that this should take several weeks for this to happen) and then hopefully I can scrap my phone number to use it with for a different account...
