Update: I cleared the Browsing data in chrome. Cookies, history and cache. Chatgpt is working again.
Please share this around to anyone who is having issues- as this fix worked for me 🙂

Hello, I am from the Computer Faculty at HSE University in Russia. I wanted to share an interesting fact that on February 27th in evening, ChatGPT was temporarily unavailable due to the high volume of students completing their project proposals for their diplomas.
Really sorry for that :(, I hope it was not so destructive
