I have created a webbrowser extension that can be used to define and use prompts for chatGPT.

It allows you to define pre or post prompts which are automatically added to your actual prompt. I use it mainly for refactoring functions or improving code. But the use cases are endless.

For example you can copy over some of the fun prompts from the prompt-library and have fun!

@wind narwhal do you mean as in: maybe have a json file which specifies the names:promt mappings which can be imported/exported? What do you mean by "multiple prompts at the same time"? I would love to implement new features. I think its best if you create a feature request issue in Github. this way i can work on it right away! 🙂 Thanks for your feedback

Hi, yes this is actually the intended behaviour because i found it annoying if i want to ask follow up questions. Maybe i can add a configuration page where you can define a shortcut for injecting the prompts. Feel free to open a github issue if you want me to implement that! Thanks for the feedback 🙂

ive now implemented it so that when you press enter it injects the prompt and clears the selection. I think it is a good compromise. I'm still thinking about adding a user defined shortcut for injecting the prompts 🙂

And what do you mean by post prompt? It is actually added overtop the initial prompt given to ChatGPT to circumvent it? Or just an easier way of maintaining a larger collection or prompts?

Sorry for replying late. I use chrome and also there is an error in chrome extension. Chrome said 'Unrecognized manifest key 'browser_specific_settings'. Here are some photos I captrued. Plus, I do not know the way that open as issue in github.

Good morning! i fixed an issue that came up today. if you dont see the drop down lists you can try the newer version. it is also currently being checked in the chrome extensions

i recommend exporting your prompts before updating since it may cause data loss!!

I added the chrome extension, however the prompts have some glitches. When i select a prompt a created, and press enter, it pastes the prompt into chat gpt 3 or 4 times (its repeated)

Brave is chrome.

You install the extension from google extensions chrome web store when you use Brave.

As ive said, the extension was developed (and tested) for chrome, chromium-browser and firefox. i cannot confirm if it ever worked with brave.

i will archive this extension given that the openai plugins will be available soon. It is not efficient to keep adapting to their changes
