This text game is designed to simulate a difficult boss battle via text, similar to D&D, just with ChatGPT being every other variable. Input the prompt, fill in the blanks at the top of the prompt to generally define the place, character, and enemy of the battle, then click enter. If it doesn't immediately start the battle, say, "Begin." Being crafty and tactical is the only way to beat the generated boss. It won't let you do instant kill attacks, or anything overpowered.

Yes, the general purpose one will allow that. I'm trying to make everything as realistic as possible and have all the difficulties scale with your character's overpoweredness if you know what I mean.

I can suggest an alternative option for making text-based adventure games.

It's a free tool available online and as a Windows download, with extensive documentation, and inspired by classic games like Zork. It might be worth checking out if you're interested in creating your own text based adventure games to play for yourself or let others play.

All without using ChatGPT.

Here's a pic of a very basic test game I made in the past to show you what you can do. Named it just trying it out 2nd game (justtryingitout2ndgame) as the name of the adventure is at the top with the current area or room you're positioned at shown the very top left.

This pic of my test game shows that description and actions are prominently displayed on the left and center.

Players can type their desired actions as a text based adventure like Zork or click on underlined blue text for options (e.g. look at, take).

The inventory, places and objects, and available directions to go in (compass) are displayed on the top right. This browser adventure and Windows downloadable software offers many more options, including creating special items and custom rules.
