Hello, I've been experiencing a lot of issues with ChatGPT since the server crash the other day. The AI forgets instructions given from one message to another. Over the past few days, the AI has been forgetting instructions more and more often, whether they are long or short. Here are two examples that highlight this issue:
With a long instruction, I created a new chat to analyze CVs using my company's methodology. I explained all the instructions to the AI (in French) and asked if it understood. The AI showed me that it understood all the instructions I gave and was ready to carry out its mission (analyzing CVs). I sent a CV to see if the analysis was going well, but the AI started doing something completely different than what I asked (it analyzed the CV without following the previous instruction and analyzed it in English instead of French). I pointed out the forgetfulness, but the AI responded that it didn't know which instruction I was referring to, and the cycle repeated itself from there.
With a short instruction, I explained to the chat at the beginning that I use Excel in English but my formulas use ";" instead of ",". The AI understood, and I asked it to make formulas. The AI made the formulas either in French with ";" or in English with ",", and for each formula generated, I had to remind it of its mistake so it could correct it.
In addition, the AI encounters problems when I ask it to correct an incorrect Excel formula (e.g., the AI no longer knows how to use an IF function). This is extremely inconvenient for my work.
