#How to get more than ~300 words from ChatGPT

You just have to say "continue"
Can you make it write longer code by giving it a longer output length?
also, the plus version spits out about 650 words at a time (around 3000 characters).
There's also the question of output length, I find that if I ask for a text of a certain length it almost always give much less words that what I ask for...
I managed to make it spit out 2000 words, when I say so, but you have to go "continue" several times. And I am already using the plus version.
Plus here as well. Did you actually count the words? I find that the more words you ask for the more it gives. Though never near what you ask of it
does it really work with continue?
usually yes.
telling it to use 20000 characters will usually prod it to write quite a lot
If I know the responses will be long, I put, "contd.," without the quotations or add contd. to the "inject restart text."
yeah. i think you are right. Often it will spit out just 1000 or 1200 even if you ask it for 2000.
After the initial result I simply clicked the navigation arrow next to continue at the bottom of the page and it gives options for expansion, continuing, etc
