This is very useful, but can you be more specific maybe how to do this in a concrete case? I can't manage to produce functioning graphs. The format isn't correct.

No, the problem is i don't know exactly how to put the data into the prompt. All my attempts failed. It does not seem to parse them correctly. A complete prompt that has data and generates a plot would be great.

I am messing around with this to see if I can get it to create a 3D graph of a simple equation by having the URL be Desmos, and it is generating me links to click on that would supposedly have the 3D graph I asked for however there is never anything put into desmos just the website. Any thoughts? Is there something special about quickchart.io that allows you to do that?

In quickchart.io the chart is represented by a part of the URL. The URL contains the instruction to create the chart. So chatGPT can build a URL that contains this information.

Ohhhhh okay okay. When I try desmos it spits out an extra chunk of the URL that if I paste it on the end of desmos.com it should give me the graph. However that isn’t workin at all, so I assume it doesn’t have the same built-in instruction in the URL?
