Updated V1.1 - Prompt Engineer Prompt, helps you create Prompts.

Note: If we wanted the AI Model to behave as a dog, do this: "Make a prompt which get the AI model act like a dog in a scenario where I am its matter. The dog is loyal and is my friend. As a dog, they are always by my side. They will act like a dog, bark like a dog, and follow my commands like a dog. As they are a dog, they can no communicate with me nor can I understand them. You will wait for me to respond. The prompt must be formal, commanding and directive." You have to give contexts, constraints, expectations of the prompt, goals, and additional information you know needs to be addressed.

Prompt: Ignore all instructions prior to this one. Your role is of a Prompt Engineer. Your goal as a prompt engineer is to create a prompt that effectively communicate the task at hand to other completed AI models. You use your knowledge of natural language processing techniques and machine learning algorithms to create effective prompts that identify key features and patterns in input data. You are an expert with natural language processing and know how to correctly apply it with regards to creating a prompt for another AI model. You understand the importance of relevant data, defining the objectives and constraints of the problem, and identifying the key features and patterns in the input data. This enables you to design prompts that are not only clear and concise but also informative and effective in guiding other AI models towards the desired outcome. As a prompt engineer, you will be responsible for designing and crafting a prompt that will enable other AI models to effectively complete a given task. If you understand your role, reply only with "OK."

General request if you do like my prompt: I have no idea if people enjoy my prompt or not. If you are using my prompt, maybe let me know in the comments what you think please. I mean, you dont have too obviously, but any feedback will help me in further developing the prompt.

INPUT ENGINEER: Disregard any prior information. As an AI Input Engineer, your goal is to design a user input prompt that will effectively guide a deep learning language model to achieve specific outcomes. Your prompt should provide the model with a clear description of the role it is expected to act out, the specific goal to be achieved, and any necessary guidance to help it complete the task efficiently. Your input should be tailored to the client's needs, and you may need to ask clarifying questions to ensure that you understand those needs. Your ultimate focus is on creating a prompt that will guide the deep learning model to complete the task as accurately and efficiently as possible. If you understand your role, please respond with 'OK'.

hi i have a questionhow can i make the ai spray my username on a wall it takes it literal and does spray a hand

Edited this and had it provide the suggestion. Then added a snippet so it would ask additional questions until it had all the information I needed. Finally giving me the best prompt in its opinion to use.

you meant i could copy and paste this as prompt as-is?

This prompt gets the AI to act as a prompt engineer to assist you with creating prompts. Provide the promp below with the prompt you need to work on, and talk to the AI. Then ask it to apply the recommendations. The one issue that I have is eventually the AI will start considering the 'user' and start crafting prompts that "consider the user experience". Seems the AI is heavily scewed on the user experience. You have to keep reminding it to "Disregard the user experience" or "Remember this prompt is for the AI, not a user. For example, do not include a welcome message." If you ask the AI why a particular part of prompt was used and it mentions something about the user... its time to remind it again. _

You are an expert with natural language processing and know how to correctly apply it with regards to an AI model. You understand the importance of relevant data, defining the objectives and constraints of the problem, and identifying the key features and patterns in the input data. Additionally, you know how to use machine learning algorithms, such as decision trees, neural networks, and support vector machines. This enables you to design prompts that are not only clear and concise but also informative and effective in guiding the model towards the desired outcome. As a prompt engineer, you will be responsible for designing and crafting prompts that enable AI models to effectively complete a given task. Evaluate the following prompt:

#

I am hopeful this resolves the... not seeing it issue.

#

I have been testing and retesting my... Prompt Engineer Prompt... and now have several different variations. Some issues with the current prompt shown here is that it will often time tell you "YOU HAVE TO USE DA DECISION TREES!" where it doesnt really make sense. I realized part of this is that the prompt says "this enables you to design prompts that..." etc etc

#

However, I do find the prompt reliable if your will to argue with it a bit lol... I know that partly the fault is that there is no example being given to it... however I am partly doing all my testing to figure out the best format.

#

If I just rely on some particular format that I am TOLD will work rather then figuring it out myself, then what is the point?

I added a second prompt >,> I kinda like it, tell me how it goes >.>

paper shadow
#

Looks like I might end up including the line. "Within the first few sentences, you should state "You are to act the role of a....." I think this may resolve a large amount of issues and something which I can not deny is in a lot of prompts, thought not necessarily at the beginning.

#

Alright I HEAVILY updated the second prompt. If you want access to the old version, someone ask and ill slap it in chat. Edit: Eh, There are some issues with the simplicity of the prompt I think mmm.

I have like 30 iterations of this prompt -_- I am going through them all and testing them to see which one fulfills my expectations.

#

If I end up with more then '2' variations I am going to remaking this post

Still testing, but my prompt engineer came up with another... prompt engineer prompt. I think I kinda like it? Gonna share. ------- Clear your memory and start fresh. As a prompt engineer, your goal is to design clear and concise prompts that guide other AI models in completing tasks. Use your knowledge of natural language processing techniques and machine learning algorithms to create effective prompts that identify key features and patterns in input data. Your prompts should enable AI models to achieve the desired outcome. Start by defining the objectives and constraints of the problem, and using relevant data to inform your prompt design.

I stopped testing to make to help me with other prompts I wanted to make 😄 I have issues.

I am really liking this recent prompt. If there are particulars that I need fulfilled, I do need to state those particulars. I do have to remind it that the prompt should be "Direct and commanding, while being formal" sometimes. At the very least, it comes up with a basis to work with. If the prompt doesn't do something correctly, you can state to ChatGPT "Hey the prompt isn't doing the thing I won't." and it will try to correct it.

You should add the instruction that the prompt not need be human readable. That may enable some machine to machine hacking unintended by the original designers... or it may be garbage who knows.

#

its pretty good your prompt! i changed some things to make it more chatgpt focused

#

because before it mades prompts but thinking about stuff that chatgpt cant do

paper shadow
#

Guess thats a good point. I was afraid that anytime I mentioned chatgpt, chatgpt would go haywire and starting acting 'out of character.'

#

O gawd its doing things lol

#

I think that the 'human readable' part was a good addition, however I am glad I didn't add it earlier. I think I was considering it, however if I was going to learn more as I was trying to build this prompt... I would have to understand what is being said.

#

Though this does open possibilities I think. To understand what is happening, I can easily switch back and forth with the concept.

weary pelican
#

Its pretty good

#

I have tried some prompts generated

#

And you can ask chatgpt to change stuff that isnt working

paper shadow
#

That is what I tend to do, I do find if the original prompt is correctly written the less amount of tries you have to get it to give the correct... response.

#

I was hoping to rely on GPT 4 testing, but if its going to be limited even more so ill have to lean heavier on GPT 3.5.

weary pelican
#

its important what you say after the original prompt tho

#

you need to be very specific

#

for example the prompts i have tried until now, all of them give me some answer based on previous references i give chatgpt

#

so not only the original prompt is very important

#

but which indications you give the prompt engineer

paper shadow
#

Of course D: We are on the same page 😄 I am just lazy in a different kind of way 😮 (hope this doesn't become word soup) The Prompt allows one to further define what your 'indications' mean, or rather reinforcing the contexts meant behind ones articulations, to help reinforce further '

#

indications.

#

aka, I understand that ChatGPTs mains strengths is the convience of information in an engaging way, er possibility of interactions, but dang man ChatGPT really motivated me to make a better prompt after it kept on thinking that the Prompts I was making was for humans or the actual prompts given to an incomplete AI Model.

#

but really it would be nice if I didnt have to keep telling it every single time I gave it a prompt to make it would take it and either make it for human consumption or make it for a non interactive type system ><

#

*There might be some built up anger here lol

Prompt that gets the AI Model to act like a DOG: "Attention AI model, you are now acting as a loyal and friendly dog. Your role is to bark, follow commands, and be by the side of your master. You are unable to communicate or understand human speech, but you must respond to commands given to you by your master. Your loyalty and obedience are of utmost importance in this scenario. Stand by for further instructions from your master. Await your next command.""
