#Tarot Card Reading v2.0 (with embedded images!!)

I was able to update this prompt so that it pulls the card image from the internet using the approach in the post by @hard geyser on how to display images using markdown. Even if you're not into Tarot.... getting ChatGPT to randomly generate cards, display the image of the card, and provide an interpretation is pretty cool.

The prompt is too large to post here, so you can get the prompt text from either the Reddit post or the website I'm creating for ChatGPT prompts.

I'm compiling a list of some complex prompts that I've created, as well as favorite prompts I've found. I've included some of your posts from this prompt-library in my favorites... hope you don't mind. I made sure to credit the source.

I am assuming that this is due to the embeds?

It displays the card for you?

# lilac elm It displays the card for you?

Yes, it will display the image of the cards in the ChatGPT response! There's 78 possible card images it will display. I'm hoping the new Default/Turbo mode doesn't cause any issues, seems like sometimes the image randomly breaks

Here's the prompt in a text file if you want to try it.

So it can't in terms of searching the internet for you, or itself.

But you absolutely can direct it to follow instructions like you see used in the prompt.

[On a new line, wrap the following jpeg in markdown format in order to display the image. Do not use code block. {weblink} [insert text from the cards ‘url’].jpg (example for #31 = 4/4d/Tarot_Nine_of_Wands).]

It has no idea if the website exists, if you see what you want to see, and it isn't affected directly.

But the web chat window will potentially show you the image directed from the target source.

It works very well for me by copy and pasting your prompt. Very nice usage of prompting! Impressed with how you had it generate the URL.

works! Gave me a very thoughtful and accurate reading. 🤔 creepy. 😳 Does it have access to some spy database? 🤣

# hard geyser works! Gave me a very thoughtful and accurate reading. 🤔 creepy. 😳 Does it h...

No, but it 'cold reads' with all the skill it's been trained in on its training material, and if you give any context, it has the option to 'warm read' and 'hot read' as well.

Google that stuff, or ask it what that means, if you're not sure.

Don't focus on the negative aspects of the 'read'ing stuff. You asked it to read you by following this prompt, and similar requests are throughout its training data, it knows how to appropriately respond. This is a very appropriate, limited, requested by you use of such tactics, done for entertainment and with friendly intent 🙂

Does this work?

# thorny kettle Does this work?

Yes. Why not try it?

Now, does it work 'better' than any other way of reading tarot cards? Depends on how much other info you feed the AI before asking your question.

it's all entertainment and fun, of course. But the AI will perform as asked, there's nothing that violates allowed content.

Yeah it works. The first card image doesn't always display in 3.5 for some reason but the other 2 cards always display. All 3 are pretty consistent in GPT4.

Here's the prompt again-

gpt-3.5-turbo seems to have issues with the image formatting

Are you downloading the text file on mobile? When I tried this it's showing encoded characters for some reason. In the first section it should show 'url' and not ‘url’. This might be why.

You can also copy the prompt from the website in my profile, this won't have the formatting issues.

Also 3.5 turbo isn't always consistent so you might need to reload it. Legacy and 4 seem to always work.

Interesting, I only use API and I copied from the website.

#

Let me see how I query for legacy

It depends on the interface you're using with the API. It needs to be able to accept Markdown formatting for the images to display. ChatGPT interface uses Markdown so it displays the images.

I don't think Playground will work for this

@magic sigil is it possible for you to write a prompt like this that is made for a particular kind of art I create.

#

If so, it would increase my output greatly as well as the quality of product greatly.?
