Hello everyone, I have subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, however, when I navigate to the API tab on OpenAI, it still shows "Free Trial". I was wondering if these are two separate entities? Thank you.

Yes they're different. API and ChatGPT are different and the ChatGPT model isn't available yet for API calls.

Thanks for the answer, so if i paid for ChatGPT Plus, i have to wait the release of the chat gpt api, i don't have access to the gpt-3 for example, it's that correct ?

Everyone has access to GPT 3 and GPT 3.5 models through the API (excluding the latest one ChatGPT). When you make your OpenAI account you get like 18 dollars of free credits for API calls that you can then use.
