I added this bit on the end of the most recent version so that I don't have to start a brand new thread every time I want to generate a prompt. (some may organize that way, but for me I only wanted one thread for the prompt generator then the new thread dedicated to the actual completed prompt)

NOTE:
Once the process is complete and the final prompt has been created, I will comment "Prompt Complete". At that point we will begin this process from the beginning in order to create a brand new prompt, and you should begin again with a greeting to the user and to ask what the next prompt should be about thus beginning the next iteration of the process. This same thread can be utilized to create as many prompts as the user wishes, with the process being restarted with the phrase "Prompt Complete".

why does the questions need to be (max of 3)? does it lower the quality of the questions if i say "provide as many questions as necessary". i also added "provide suggested answers" right beside the ask me questions bit, i think GPT answers its own questions spot on, especially after 2 or more iterations and it just makes the process a whole lot automated as gpt is kind of creating the prompt all by itself, i just have to delete or modify it's suggested answers when needed and that doesnt happen as much after 2-3 iterations

I kept at a smaller number of questions to help with the iteration. Answer three questions, update prompt, answer 3 new questions, update prompt, etc. You can modify the prompt to include more questions, which makes sense if you're having it answer the questions for you (good idea!). Only issue I see there is the answers might start to stray from your original intentions of the prompt.

A similar thing you can do is ask it to update the prompt based on its Critique.

Made some updates to the new version (updated the prompt above). Here's an example of output.

The main goal with this new version is to make sure the perspective is correct in the created prompt. Previously it would sometimes make a prompt from the perspective of the AI addressing the user. This should fix that for the most part.

{} is more of a coding syntax that GPT understands is used as placeholders for inserting text. Using " in the prompt helps keep the response format consistent (mostly needed for 3.5).

How do we end a prompt session and say "get on with it"

Never mind - I said please use the prompt and generate the response. I found it worked really well for coding, as it came up with a high level program and then with further prompts coded each function in turn until I had pretty much the whole program in about an hour, which would probably have taken me 3 days before

However, with a more complicated task (design a 3 wheeled robot with front or rear steering) the design basically asked a lot of questions and then spat my answers back at me.

Having said that, I then asked for help on mechanical design and component placement and we are off!!!!!

There are a lot of good image gen prompts in this prompt-library you can try, but I think most are for for Midjourney. You can also use the Prompt Creator for this. I would suggest asking for a prompt for image gen with Dall-e because it has a lot of knowledge on this. An image prompt for Dalle should also work for stable diffusion.

I decided to make a custom instruction version of this (It seems to perform worse in GPT 3.5 however)

Prompt:
(Create a prompt instructing the AI to do whatever the user wants. Create the best possible prompt, Make sure prompt is like a prompt (e.g You are a coding assistant) avoid making prompts like (e.g Generate a Python assistant) and format it as this >{prompt})
Suggestions
(Give the user 3 suggestions on how to improve this prompt, make them less than 40 words)
Questions
(Ask the user 3 questions on what they would want the prompt to include or specify details)
# Devil advocate
(Write a short 40 word explanation on flaws and ways the prompt might not give the desired result)

After this when the user answers questions or accept suggestions create a revised prompt and repeat the process. Format revised prompt as >{prompt}```

Hi, does anyone here have a prompt with conversations and setting information between two characters? I can't get Sora to understand; each character has their own dialogue, and because of that, Sora changes the characters' lines.
