In recent releases of ChatGPT, I have used it to summarize and analyze long texts (over 12000 characters), adding pieces of the text to the context (in pieces of up to 4000 characters). In versions prior to (ChatGPT Jan 30 Version), its operation was adequate for summarizing, obtaining key points of the entire conversation context.

In the current version (ChatGPT Jan 30 Version), ChatGPT loses the context of the conversation and is useless for what it could do before.

I add images with the added context and some correct responses, and the loss of context at the end.

I also add the text file I used for the test.

considering it is a long chat, it could be that:

A: you haven't had such a long chat with chatgpt
B: you hit the 4097 token threshold per thread

In previous versions I used longer texts, dividing the text into several messages. ChatGPT worked without a problem keeping the full context and a summary of all the text appeared.

In the test, I made segments less than 3000 characters
