then you might have to write: "don't use a code block" in case it just gives you code.
If this gives a broken link and no image write:
"please use an actual concrete link that exists on the internet"

yes, but it can create markdown, and in markdown you can embed links to images 😜.
also, in case the example above does not work, you have to add a second prompt: "do not use a code block"

your browser is making the request, that's not surprising. That sometimes Assistant guess a URL correctly is surprising (assuming it doesn't have a conventional list of URLs and text, just like a normal search engine... which AFAIK, it doesn't)

ChatGPT can never ever know if a link still exists or what it points to, as it cannot browse the Internet. If an image appears in your browser, it comes directly from the server of the image website to your browser and not via ChatGPT. ChatGPT can never know which image is displayed in your browser because your browser takes it from where the link address points to. chatGPT only delivers the link address, not its content. The data and links chatGPT is trained on is not up to date. Wait for Google bard in the next few weeks...

Yes, we have to remember ChatGPT is not magic. It's a tool. and it does has it's limitations.... if only people read more than the first line... some they don't even read at all!
Also, chatGPT is made for displaying text, we are at the very very edge of it's capabilities here.
